Job Summary: As a field technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Armada Power Optimizers. You will work closely with property managers, property maintenance personnel, and other technical teams to ensure seamless installation and optimal performance of the fleet.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain Armada Power Optimizers on electric water heaters in residential multifamily settings.
  • Coordinate and complete installation, preventative maintenance, mitigation, and repairs on equipment.
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics to ensure proper functionality.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine installation requirements and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Schedule appointments and follow up on related work orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and inventory.
  • Monitor and manage inventory and complete related monthly reporting.
  • Perform pre-fabrication work at the warehouse to prepare equipment for job sites.
  • Demonstrate exceptional professionalism and communication, especially when interfacing with property personnel and residents.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures while working on-site.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally within the organization.
  • Complete other projects as assigned.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in a technical or trade discipline preferred.
  • 1–2 years of prior electrical, mechanical, or maintenance experience.
Travel:
  • Travel approximately 35% of the time outside central Ohio with some travel outside of state.
  • Must have a clean driving record and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Physical Demands:

  • Occasional lifting up to 30 pounds, as well as occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, and crouching.
Work Environment:
  • The employee will be regularly exposed to indoor and outdoor weather conditions and will spend time on active construction sites, with potential exposure to various elements.
