JOB SUMMARY: The Manager, Application Development, is responsible for leading the Application Development Team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Oversee Strategic Business Technology team
  • Manage day to day projects for Strategic Business Technology team within Atlassian project environment   
  • Develop, maintain, and update internal applications needed to run core business operations and processes    
  • Work with internal team members and external customers to identify areas of improvement and tools needed to perform job duties more efficiently    
  • Troubleshoot and come up with solutions to solve operational issues    
  • Oversee upkeep of data warehouse, data infrastructure environment, data archiving and data recovery    
  • Build new functionalities for internal team members and external customers    
  • Holds development related to vendor relationships   
  • Complete other technical projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience preferred.   
  • Five (5) to Seven (7) years of relevant software development experience. 
  • Experience with Object Oriented Design, Python, PHP (Laravel), HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Vue/Node), and relational database management systems (SQL, Postgres, etc.) required. 
  • Experience with Matillion or similar ETL/ELT and Amazon Web Services tools preferred but not required 
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.  
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.  

The pay range for this position is below. The specific starting rate will depend on the chosen candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. $135,000 (entry level qualifications) to $145,000 (highly experienced).
